PLATINUM MULTIHYBRID FLAP DISCSThe new multihybrid grainThe new multihybrid flap disc is a mixture of several established grain-formulas in conjunction with the unique backing technology from Eisenblaetter.
The result is a completely new benchmark in grinding, with unique versatility and performance. For the first time, it is possible to treat all metals with just one flap disc, without quality- or performance-losings.
The PLATINUM disc reaches on materials like inox, steel, aluminum, titan and non-ferrous metals far better results than common abrasives. Best grinding quality and performance with just one gritThe whole spectrum of grit nuances from coarse to medium, can now be replaced with just one grit. The disc is agressive like grit 40, but leaves the surface treated with a finish that matches a grinding surface of grit 50/60.
That's why 80 - 90 % of all grinding tasks can now be done with the PLATINUM.
For essential tasks, that require even finer grinding or polishing works, Eisenblaetter has a wide array of other abrasives and polishing tools to offer.
Further more due to the new grain-formula heat coloration on workpieces wont be seen anymore. Huge money saving potentialSavings in terms of warehouse charges: Only one type of flap discs with one grit. That is all what is needed to work with all metals and materials. How much space could be safed.
Savings in terms of usage: Only one grit means less manufacturing processes. Also the tool change and the time doing so, is reduced. And most important, the high performance and lasting of the PLATINUM discs contributes to shorter and more grinding works. Newest hybrid-grinding cloth on proven backingsThe PLATINUM is available on food safe plastic-backings as MAGNUM® Platinum, with natural fibre compound as PLANTEX® Platinum and on the basis of the FIX HOOK & LOOP system as FIX Platinum. All Backings are trimmable, the PLANTEX® is in addition even selftrimming. With the right technique the flap discs can be used untill the last millimeter of abrasive cloth, often 30 - 40 % of common discs are wasted, because they are not trimmable. In addition that reduces costs for flap discs even more. |
