■ 1980 – Gerd Eisenblätter GmbH for special grinding equipment is founded

 

■ 1982 – Launch of ZIRCOTEX flap discs

 

■ 1984 – Invention and production of flap discs with adhesive-free aluminium backing plates

 

■ 1985 – Gold medal for deburring machines at the International Trade Show IHM in Munich

 

■ 1988 – Invention of hook and loop flap discs with patented centring backing plate

 

■ 1989 – First longitudinal grinder with an angle gear
